Healthy Minds Canada’s Bell Let’s Talk 2015 Tip Sheet
This is the easiest campaign to be a part of! You can either lead the conversation or promote what others are already saying. Just Tweet and post messages and images on FB on all matters about mental health (including mental illness and/or addictions). The catch? Always remember to use the hashtag #BellLetsTalk and use Healthy Minds Canada’s handle @Healthy_Minds so we can help promote your message.
Why? Talking is the best way to start breaking down the barriers associated with mental illness. But sometimes it’s hard to know what to say. Below you will find some short facts about mental health that Bell likes (and we like them too!). You’ll also find a few of our own. And…if you are creative, you too can come up with your own. Just remember to include @Healthy_Minds #BellLetsTalk at the end of ALL your posts.
And remember, you want people to re-tweet you and share your FB posts. So when you post and tweet, ask people to re-tweet or Share (Pls RT = Please ReTweet and when you post on FB, just substitute Pls RT with Pls Share). Please remember that the Pls RT counts as characters in a Twitter post…so it may not always be possible.
Before you start:
- Find us on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/healthymindscanada) and then “Like” us. That way when you post on Facebook, you can tag us.
- “Follow” us on Twitter (https://twitter.com/Healthy_Minds) so that you’ll see our posts and those of others just like you who are making a difference and talking about mental health.
