I struggled with anxiety for decades before I finally recovered. I suffered for so long that I thought I would never recover. Some doctors even told me that I would have to learn to live with anxiety. I had gone from one treatment to another, but nothing was working. I had tried many alternative therapies, but my anxiety was not going away. I had given up any hope of recovering from this condition. I lost friends and job opportunities because of my anxiety. I stopped enjoying the things I used to enjoy. My life had simply stopped and all that remained was this seemingly endless and vicious cycle of anxiety.

But things changed when I decided to become a willing student. I was tired of suffering so I decided to go out and learn as much as I could about anxiety. I embarked on a mission to study and understand anxiety. I had wasted so much money before buying useless treatments and so-called miracle cures. Instead, I decided to educate myself on the subject of anxiety and why it develops. I was tired of being afraid and decided to give up the fear. I was no longer interested in any anxiety medications or treatments, so I threw everything away. I replaced my fear of anxiety with knowledge and understanding.

What I have discovered is that the real cure for anxiety comes from within. You will never fully recover from anxiety if you keep looking for outside treatments and miracle cures. You are the solution to your anxiety. Your recovery starts from within. It starts by understanding what anxiety is and why it makes you feel the way you feel. It is lack of understanding that causes you to try to think and fight your way out of anxiety. It is lack of understanding that causes you to worry and live in fear all the time. You cannot recover if your days are always full of worry and fear. The only way to move forward in the right way is to understand anxiety and not be afraid of it.
