Thanks to the generous support of the Royal Bank of Canada through a partnership with Healthy Minds Canada, 10 Boys and Girls Clubs of Canada received a $5,000 grant in 2012 to run the FRIENDS programs which are designed to build emotional resilience and anxiety management skills in children and youth.

“Being able to facilitate the FRIENDS program has helped me better connect with our members and gain a better understanding of where they are coming from and what might be causing their anxiety. I feel it is really important to slow down and teach these skills to help children cope with anxiety, and set the kids up for success.”
