How to Contribute!

We are currently looking for new bloggers to write for the Supportive Minds blog from August 2015 – January 2016! Bloggers submit posts once every two weeks (twice a month).

If  you have a personal experience with mental health (whether it be your own or a loved one’s) and are interested in candidly sharing your journey, please send an email to [email protected]://healthymindscanada.ca with “HMC Blog” in the subject line!

Tell us a little bit about yourself (age, location, education, job, etc.), what your experience with mental illness has been like and what topic you would like to focus on, and any additional qualifications you may have (such as an educational background in health, writing, other related fields, etc.). Finally, please send us a writing sample! We prefer a sample blog post, but if you don’t have one, that’s okay too. You can submit anything as long as it is reflective of the style of a blog, so no poetry, research papers, emails etc.

You MUST be comfortable with us promoting your blog entries via our social media and emails, and you must be also be comfortable promoting yourself on your own social media channels (especially Twitter).
