Raising funds for mental health in partnership with Healthy Minds Canada

On Sunday, May 5, 2014, Kevin Cunningham ran in the Goodlife Fitness Toronto Marathon, using the opportunity to raise money for Healthy Minds Canada (HMC).

It was Kevin’s first marathon, and he raised $4,162 – all of which will go towards the cost of revising our very popular “When Something’s Wrong” handbooks so that they reflect recent changes to in mental illness diagnostics.

These handbooks are written for teachers, parents and employers so that they can better understand behavioural symptoms and find coping strategies and resources when dealing with child, friend or employee exhibiting signs of mental health issues.

We are grateful to Kevin’s employer, LinkedIn, for contributing $616 in matching funds for all donations made from his colleagues!
